What’s not included - Ask specifically: Is the sump pump included? Backup pump? Disposal of excavated concrete? Any floor patching? These omissions can add $1,000 - $2,000 to the actual final cost.
Warranty specifics - Is it transferable? What exactly does it cover (water entry? secondary damage? pump failure?)? Who backs it (the local contractor? a manufacturer?)?
